• Certified Nursing Assistants and Patient Care Assistants with valid state certification in Georgia for personal care delivery.
• Registered and Licensed nurses may function as Personal Caregivers.
• Companions/Sitters must have successfully completed the comprehensive Home Care Living Training Series.
• Must provide three above-average references from care delivery supervisors. We verify each of these.
• Must achieve a score of 80% or above on our validated test for care delivery competency.
• Must complete the Assessment of Personality for Care Delivery.
• Must complete a Skill Competency Checklist.
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certificate.
• Must complete a Drug Screen and background check.
• Must complete annual update training on Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire and Safety, and Infection Control.
• Must provide a five-year employment history and minimum of 6 months within the past 2 years in care delivery through a professional service. We verify this information.
• Must complete our Age-Appropriate Delivery of Care training.
• Must complete training on HIPAA directives for patient's rights to privacy and confidentiality, and read and sign the Client Bill of Rights.
• Must provide a Physician's statement of satisfactory health and TB test results.
• Must provide Hepatitis B Vaccine documentation.
• Verification of eligibility to work in the United States via I-9 form
• Driving Record report is obtained from the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety
• Current automobile insurance is verified.

Personal Care Assistants - You can qualify to work in the area of in-home personal care if you have professional in-home care experience and are a Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant, or have other healthcare professional training and meet our hiring criteria.
